This true-color image shows a large plume of Saharan Desert dust (yellow) blowing westward off the coast of Morocco and arcing sharply back toward the northeast and the Canary Islands in the eastern Atlantic. This scene was acquired on July 25, 2004, by the <a href="http://modis.gsfc.nasa.gov" target="outlink">Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer</a> (MODIS) aboard NASA’s <a href="http://aqua.nasa.gov/" target="outlink"> Aqua</a> satellite.
